As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.

A man, to be in business, must be at least owner of the enterprise which he manages and to which he gives his attention, and is chiefly dependent on for his revenues not upon salary but upon its profits.

Men who reach decisions promptly usually have the capacity to move with definiteness of purpose in other circumstances.

While the law of competition may be sometimes hard for the individual, it is best for the race, because it ensures the survival of the fittest in every department.

It is impossible for anyone to be cheated out of an honorable career unless he cheats himself.

Whatever your wages are, save a little.

Do not make riches, but usefulness your first aim.
